Hiya!
I'm Paul Smith, Web developer and occasional blogger from Raleigh NC. (Not to be confused with any of those other Paul Smiths out there). I tend to write about Python and Django, Google and Google technologies, other Paul Smiths, and various sundry things.
My parents got me a used TRS-80 color computer when I was a kid. I've been noodling around with computers ever since. These days I work turning my love of technology toward Internet Communications, Web Development, Social Media and Marketing.
You know how you can stick a mic in front of a pro athlete, and he'll eventually say something like, "I can't believe they actually pay me to do this..." Yeah. I get that.
Who pays you to write this stuff?
Nobody. You may see comments from my co-workers on my blog, you my see my employers Re-Tweet me, you may notice my employers and fellow employees in my friends list on Twitter and Facebook, and you may even see some of my writing on my employers' blog. Here, however, everything I write reflects my own thoughts and opinions, and are not necessarily those of (nor are they paid for or influenced by) my employers or their clients.
